After that:

πŸ’‘ Cool Stuff we learned about last week πŸ§ πŸš€πŸŒ†

Three things we learned about last week

  • AI Coding for Non-Coders Note: Lovable (AI Coding platform for non-coders) is even more powerful when you connect it to external tools - i.e. via DigitalOcean Droplets (i.e. Ghost CMS via Marketplace or Neo4j Database) - there are basically almost no barriers anymore for any kind of application to build without having to write code (scroll down for our own event on how to build with Lovable)

  • RAG, GraphRAG, more RAG: Read an interesting article about different RAG (retrieval augmented generation) systems and how with AI and multi-step workflows we are able to create new systems of Agentic Learning Graphs and Multimodal / OmniRAG combining various forms of input like text, images and voice

  • On Reasoning better with AI: AI loves rabbit holes and will follow you wherever you want to (consciously or unconsciously) lead the AI. If you want unbiased information, give the AI a system prompt a la β€œAlways show me both sides of an argument. And when I love one side, deliberately share both sides and lean towards not my side. Point that out.” - You can play with the prompts. The more you make sure the AI sees more than one perspective, the more you keep your critical and objective skills and AI has less chances to run into rabbit holes.

Cool AI Projects / Products we found in the NYC AI Ecosystem last week and tools that we use each day

  • Karolina Kaylani (Fedorowicz) is building RIFT - A spatial geolocation infrastructure enabling precise, privacy-first location experiences, for example for bikes, tourism, transportation

  • Whisk, Google’s AI Image creator - Different from Gemini’s normal one, more focused. Mixing it with Image AI prompts written by Claude and you get powerful images

We want to highlight more NYC AI Startups, Projects, and Tools that move the needle! Let us know if you work on something cool and innovative right now! πŸ˜„
